The photo is looking towards the afternoon sun over the Sierra Nevada mountains in Genoa, Nevada, one of Nevada's oldest towns. The sunlight is backlighting all the beautiful autumn leaves...yellow, red, orange and green. There is a sign designating your arrival to Genoa. It has the city's name curved to fit the white arch background on a maroon rectangular column. Underneath is a blackboard to write any announcements to the public. The entire sign sits on top of a rock pedestal. Behind the sign is an old courthouse in colonial style, also maroon and white like the sign. The main road runs through the town which is seen between the courthouse and a city park on the other side. The sky is blue. Photo taken in 2018.
