With Genso Manège I have to say that Emma (protagonist) ended up being very different from what I expected.
Especially since a review I read described her as passive, making many mistakes and getting into trouble etc.

Girl is super proactive! Extremely so!

Looked up which CGs I'm missing and I absolutely did get those CGs. In fact you can't miss them.
The game is bugged and didn't unlock them in the gallery🙃

Reading Lyon's Route on Valentines day was a choice🙈
Will this even have a good ending or will I get Lucas-ed again?
Come on Emma! I allow you to go full Deus Ex Machina here...

This CG reminds me of the legendary CG from Collar x Malice with Ichika and Shiraishi!

Love this genre of CG. Grab him girl!

Screenshot of Genso Manège. Emma is grabbing Serge's shirt with angry tears in her eyes, pulling him down towards her. Serge is looking surprised and concerned at her. Emma is saying: "Why won't you let me care about you?!"

The more serious and stoic a character the more enjoyable this trope get's!

(Serge CG spoiler!)

A cute moment with a cute smile from Serge~

Getting along with Serge would be easy for me.
I'm similar to him while at work.
No chitchat, just work during work hours.
I only want to socialise during dedicated break times lol

I like how active Emma is in Hugo's Route!
She felt very involved and pressed forward.

Right now I think I'm most interested in Lyon since masked characters are a little weakness of mine.

In real life tho I can't stand people in mascot costumes🙈
Nothing against the actual people, the costumes coupled with being silent just gives me major uncanny valley.
#GensoManege
Screenshot of Genso Manège. The love interest Lyon is shown. He is wearing a full body mascot suit that looks like a yellow bunny in a march uniform. He is saying: "My name's Lyon. I hope we'll get to know each other while you're here, Emma."

Situations like these are magical and horror at the same time.
A magical and exciting situation for a child that doesn't want their trip to end. Horror for everyone else...
It's amazing how well everyone is doing considering their situation.
I assume I will see some cracks eventually. #GensoManege
Screenshot of Genso Manège. The love interest Hugo is shown. He is saying: "Everyone who works here is trapped. Bound to the park by magic."

Ah, so Emma is living in these types of times? Scary 🙈
Well, at least he wasn't against her getting a job.

#GensoManege
Screenshot of Genso Manège. The love interest Arnaud is shown on screen. He is saying: "Oh, please. How many women do you know who have jobs? Housework counts as earning your keep just fine."

Starting Genso Manège!

A bright and colorful otome game about an amusement park which apparantly is darker than it appears?

(Not as dark as Café Enchante tho I heard)

Screenshot of the Otome Game Genso Manège. It shows the title screen which shows the games name in a fairy tale like font. Behind it is a an old page of a book with a merry-go-round in white and pink surrounded by violet, pink and blue glitter and stars.

Genso Manège release today on Steam and on Switch!
It has lots of pastel art and I absolutely adored Hugo.
Are you gonna grab it? Whose route are you most excited to do?

Arnauds route in Genso Manege has been finished and I loved it so much!
Kinda torn between Hugo and Arnaud for who is number one.

So I've decided on my play order for Genso Manège.
This is not a recommended play order, it's just purely based on who I found interesting.
I've already completed Hugo and moving onto Arnaud next.
