been testing many different ways to automate squish (geonode math 😭), came across a simpler method that feels "good enough", just Dynamic Paint with Displacement! I'm voxelizing a simple cage around complex meshes, sole deformed by surface deform modifier on a subdiv'd cage.

For the curious: Sailynn's feathers aren't based on alpha cards nor instances. Every single feather is generated from a single geonode hair strand or curve, based on how it's shaped and a bunch of vertex groups sampled from the body mesh. Every feather is ✨Unique ✨

Got it to work! Here's my new baking workflow:
1. Model a large level mesh
2. Use a geonode model to apply textures based on normals
3. Use geonode to make a Chunk Divider/ AutoUnwrap UV
4. Run script that duplicates and applies chunk values.
5. Bake
