The glimpse of a bare boulder
in the moonlight was madness divine;
That schist, the flake, the crevices
So voluptuous in their shadowy shimmer,
'twas like looking upon the face
of the Moon goddess herself!

#geopoem
I've been driven mad with desire by the glimpse of a bare shoulder in the moonlight less frequently than I'd been led to expect.

#promptcombo #geopoem Choose an intimate human theme (e.g., grief, a childhood memory). Write 16 technical geological terms. E.g: subduction, calcification, standard strata, erratic boulder,
Write the human theme, Don't use standard emotional prose. Use yr geological word list to act as metaphors.

My sister-in-law, who has dementia, was my inspiration.

@thewombwellrainbow.bsky.social #PromptCombo #Geopoem 16 geological terms is a lot but I think I went over by some. I've done a geopoem before and I like geological metaphor.
