Have you seen our new Geosearch functionality?

This database contains 1M+ documents and still queries in <3ms on a CUSTOM POLYGON.

That means you can now draw any shape over any area and the geosearch experience will be instantaneous, even over large datasets

What a week! At Meilisearch, we launched five big updates: conversational search, advanced geosearch, multimodal queries, personalization, and a new pricing model.

Why did we do this? Because search should fit the way people build and use data today – intuitive, fast, cost-smart, and open.

Did you know that the Places window of #NeoFinder has a context menu with many options, such as a #geosearch for photos or videos taken nearby? Or being able to see that GPS in Google Maps or OpenStreetMap?

Yeah, they're different. The pebble code is essentially an interface on top of Wikipedia's geosearch API, whereas my PWA is a tiled, offline database.

We rolled out another improvement to our geosearch / autosuggest service - we now return a `_type` field for each result and you can also specifically restrict results to only a certain `_type` or exclude certain _types

Et si je rajoute aussi tous les booléens c’est nos trucs à nous genre « il y a eu de la geosearch, 5 créations d’index, 5 mise à jours de settings qui ont activé la geosearch » et pas grand chose de plus

We've rolled out an improvement to our geosearch (location autosuggest) service, the search now includes post codes for almost all countries.
