Note how many in TrumpCo hv German ancestors - & how many ‘Germantowns’ there were until folks pretty much forced to assimilate bc of WW1 & 2. In ‘Little Women’ Beth caught her illness from helping that poor German immigrant family that spoke no English. Such pathetic willfully ignorant hypocrites.

As many ethnicities from Europe were received differently as immigrants, save becoming ‘white’ in the US - eg, there are “Germantowns”, “Greektowns”, “Little Italy”, ethnic neighborhoods, etc, all over the US. If the differences *were* so minor in Europe what made them so real for a time in the US?

As many ethnicities from Europe were received differently as immigrants, save becoming ‘white’ in the US - eg, there are “Germantowns”, “Greektowns”, “Little Italy”, ethnic neighborhoods, etc, all over the US. If the differences *were* so minor in Europe what made them so real for a time in the US?
