25 impaired drivers in 15 days of December!
Halfway through December we've stopped 25 impaired drivers, 14 of which has their license suspended for 90-days. Drivers, there is no excuse for driving impaired! Hail a taxi or ride-share, take transit, or have a designated driver.

In 2024 so far, Saanich Police have removed 580 impaired drivers from roads, a record for Immediate Roadside Prohibitions. In December, counterattack roadblocks will increase to catch impaired drivers. Always plan a safe ride home: cab, ride share, bus, or designated driver. #GetHomeSafeBC #YYJ

#icbc 1st #CounterAttack campaign was in 1977 with the BC Gov't & police, featuring the Breath Alcohol Mobile Testing Unit. Before Counter Attack, more than 300 impaired related fatalities occurred. Be responsible, plan a ride!
