(I didn't really wish to photograph other people in the photo as I only wanted what was in front as the main subject) and I never saw anyone walk through or even stood there.

When I was setting up and then even taking the photo, I had my eyes on that spot the entire time as there is a walkway around that spot in the tunnels.
