Ghoultober 2026 - Batch 1 [1st October 2026]

Today (for me) begins the Ghoultober character lineup thing that I've been doing since 2024, starting off with winging out wholly new characters (except the first one)

#anthro #furry #furryart #alien #ghoul #ghouls #dracoghouls #characterdesign #oc #art
A batch of illustrations depicting colorful, anthro synapsid "dragons" that are colloquially known as ghouls or formally the Nari (Dracoghouls). Finally got this 21-hour piece that started in mid-September done.

It's mostly on some ghouls before Ghoultober 2026 that I'd typically put together in a lineup cos I'm preparing for next month to do something about it...

preparing stuff for next month’s Ghoultober 2026 as its only 5 days away.

will be of the same format as last year because it worked imo; its basically a spinoff from the bigger character lineup series but for one month.

Dracosphere - Ghoul-Drakon

quasi-character rework
Since I couldn't access larger canvases on Procreate for the character lineups I do... gonna have to do some ghouls before Ghoultober 2026.

The name Drakon is a coincidence.

#scifi #worldbuilding #alien #dracoghouls #refsheet #oc #digitalart #art
A character reference sheet or splash page of rendered illustrations of a purple Dracoghoul (or just a "ghoul" - being of the species' original form/version) named Drakon Angtogoo, or her human name of Lyra Agnatus. She has long ears loosely resembling equine ears with a long beak with a flattened tip at the end when viewed from the side view. She also has deep blue eyes and long blonde hair. On the left is a halfbody, snarling or making a "howl" (closest to a scream than a wolf howl) facing right. To the right are the front and side view of her head, the latter having her with goggle-like glasses.

might as well also show up with something to compare with the same character with different forms using the same Ghoultober 2025 format for the portraits and vice versa. Did that for the next few minutes in my spare time.

New: Body Types of the Dracoghoul

Something that was on my mind about different sizes and wanting to compile an anthro version of that from the feral Dracoghoul AU after completing Ghoultober 2025 with reused drawings from that.

Decided not to tag as usual here... But I will make this a thread for recapping the whole thing in a format sorted by hue for Huevember - cos ghouls are *quite* varied in color and to also mark what I did in 2022.

Ghoultober 2025: Ghoul Batch 13 [4th November 2025]

The final lineup for a slightly overdue series. In total there's like 104 of them that I got to sort through for the wrap-up of the series. Will be exciting (or not)

A batch of illustrations depicting colorful anthro synapsid "dragons" that are colloquially known as ghouls or formally the Nari (Dracoghouls). Feathshaag Sekhnat (GT25-96) M (he/they), 1.38 m (4'6"), Narican/Arboreal A koboldic (short) red ghoul with short black hair and a small goatee. He has a plump beak and a short tail. Pikan Eukfru (GT25-97) M (he/they), 1.90 m (6'3"), Narican/Aquatic A large light blue-purple ghoul with medium-length dark slate hair, pink eyes and a long beak that extends longer than the lower jaw and curves downward. He has a medium-length tail. One thing of note too is his darker scales that reflect his aging in his 50s - at least in human biological terms, he would be around his 90s chronologically. Tsarkmek Osuos (GT25-98) F (she/they), 1.72 m (5'8"), Klaguti/Continental An olive green ghoul with a short beak that is fused to the rest of the head instead of leaving a gap as usual - creating a smooth curve when viewed to the side. She has small pointed eyes, deep sky blue eyes and a long prehensile tail. Once again, her scales have almost finished transitioned to being entirely dark, now that she is biologically (if she was a human) in her late 60s or 110s in Naric terms. Fiduma Skarrwyrm (GT25-99) F (she/they), 1.70 m (5'7"), Syllkrin/Tropical A light yellow ghoul with deep blue eyes, a long sharp beak and very long dark brown hair. She has a medium-length tail. Spoyll Mosasyros (GT25-100; Beaked One) M (he/they), 1.99 m (6'6"), Mosasyrican/Abyssal A green ghoul with a long rounded beak, cyan eyes and medium-length dark grey hair. He has a very long, prehensile tail. Kyngloof Gillklark (GT25-101; DG-416) M (he/they), 1.75 m (5'9"), Droobaatori/Continental A purple ghoul with wide rounded ears, blue-purple eyes and a short beard in addition to short scalp hair with a blonde complexion. His beak is irregularly shaped but has a hooked tip at the end and his tail is of medium-length size. Oxtagat Pyrroli (GT25-102; DG-396) F (she/they), 1.72 m (5'8"), Bliykaemonian/Astral An orange ghoul with short-medium blonde hair, red eyes and rounded ears. She has a short tail. Costhi Rakkah (GT25-103; SG25-31; DG-398) M (he/him), 1.76 m (5'9"), Tagyrean/Aquatic A tailless but large/portly ghoul with long rounded ears, a short pointed beak, green eyes and long brown hair. Being tailless is a rarity within the Dracoghoul species genetically but it is possible - a tail can be regenerated if it existed before but of a shorter length but cannot be regenerated if cut multiple times or is naturally tailless. Drouksymmak Slarox (GT25-104 [Final]; DG-399) F (she/they), 1.69 m (5'7"), Droobaatori/Tropical A dark brown ghoul with a rounded beak, red eyes and long blonde hair. She has a medium-short tail.

Ghoultober 2025: Ghoul Batch 12 [3rd November 2025]

More Ghoultober 2024 character redesigns - and everything after that. I've drafted the entire summary of this month's lineup and the last batch should be done today.

#anthro #furry #furryart #alien #ghoul #dracoghouls #characterdesign #oc #art
A batch of illustrations depicting colorful anthro synapsid "dragons" that are colloquially known as ghouls or formally the Nari (Dracoghouls). Creenaru Sodek-Axulartu (GT25-86; SG24-21; DG-160) F (she/they), 1.78 m (5'10"), Klaguti/Alpine A charcoal-colored ghoul with long rounded ears and beak, red eyes and long orange hair. She has a very short tail. Drakon Angtogoo / Lyra (GT25-87; SG24-05; DG-136) F (she/her), 2.12 m (6'11"), Narican/Astral A tall (though non-titanic), purple ghoul with rounded ears and a long beak with a square hook at the end. Her body type is large and somewhat portly. She has medium-length pale blonde hair, blue eyes and an average-sized tail. Ogmau Sarcosynkt (GT25-88; SG23-15) F (she/they), 1.60 m (5'3"), Narican/Arid A green ghoul with visible ageing of dark scales/skin due to her age (approaching her early 60s now) with pointed ears, blue eyes and a short tail. Horree Kosmapalennuggu (GT25-89; SG25-01; DG-85) F (she/they), 1.65 m (5'5"), Narican/Tropical A slim, dark purple ghoul with a very narrow but long beak, purple eyes and long pointed ears. She has long, light brown hair and a thin but long tail as well. Kropolk Troozhodon (GT25-90) M (he/they), 1.73 m (5'8"), Narican/Tropical Sometimes rendered as "Kripolk". A light blue-purple ghoul with deep blue eyes. He has partially darkened scales as he is currently around in his late 50s and has a medium-length tail. Ghoulrak Euru (GT25-91; DG-98) M (he/they), 1.83 m (6'0"), Plesiosychean/Alpine A dark teal ghoul with green eyes, a long rounded beak and a thick, medium-length tail. Graill Crautacus (GT25-92) M (he/him), 1.85 m (6'1"), Klaguti/Arboreal A portly dark blue ghoul with short (presumably dyed) dark blue hair, blue eyes and a rounded beak. His tail is thick and of average length. Ralk Alcorne (GT25-93) M (he/they), 1.62 m (5'4"), Klaguti/Arid A light yellow ghoul with dark grey hair, a long pointed beak and brown eyes. Ralk's tail is long and thin which is likely to be prehensile. Kroyuku Grosis (GT25-94) F (she/they), 1.79 m (5'10"), Klaguti/Continental A mint green ghoul with rounded ears and magenta eyes. She has a very long tail that is non-prehensile (poor to grip to the tail's thickness). Crogulf Klartokra (GT25-95; SG24-02; DG-20) M (he/they), 1.80 m (5'11"), Pythric/Arboreal A dark blue ghoul with short light brown hair and a medium-length beard with purple eyes and a medium-length tail.

Same character about 22 years later (right for original) - but two different forms. I keep tabs on existing characters.

Almost done with Ghoultober 2025 atp. Just note that dark scales for Dracoghouls are a result of aging - starting as early as 70s (late 40s) and end in 110s (late 60s).

Ghoultober 2025: Ghoul Batch 11 [2nd November 2025]

To be fair, I would call this "Ghoulvember" as I've done this back in 2022, it doesn't feel right. I'm doing the last three batches from October that are overdue.

#anthro #furry #furryart #alien #ghoul #dracoghouls #characterdesign #oc #art
A batch of illustrations depicting colorful anthro synapsid "dragons" that are colloquially known as ghouls or formally the Nari (Dracoghouls). Kopiron Shural (GT25-77; SG25-05; DG-353) M (he/they), 1.49 m (4'11"), Welkselyeri/Alpine A koboldic (short), mint green ghoul with short black hair, brown eyes and rounded ears and beak respectively. He has a medium-length tail. Yaksylle Vainsi (GT25-78; SG25-06; DG-354) F (she/they), 1.81 m (5'11"), Narican/Continental A light lime green ghoul with pointed ears, purple eyes, a long rounded and bent beak, alongside short white hair. She has a medium-long tail and has mechanical wings attached to her back like her draconian counterpart as they are not natural wings. Volden Skoyu (GT25-79; SG25-07; DG-355) M (he/they), 1.52 m (5'0"), Tagyrean/Aquatic A koboldic sky blue ghoul with small but wide pointed ears, short white hair though has a long beard and frosted eyes. Volden also has a short tail and a long rounded beak. Roowoof Skoyu (GT25-80; SG25-08; DG-356) F (she/they), 1.75 m (5'9"), Syllkrin/Tropical A bright green ghoul with long blonde hair, red eyes and a short pointed beak - and short tail as well. Lanlursaris Por (GT25-81; DG-357) F (she/they), 1.76 m (5'9"), Bliykaemonian/Arid An "ultraviolet" (blue-purple as perceived by humans) ghoul with purple eyes and a medium-long tail that is perhaps prehensile. Runefloor Riekop-Geksel (GT25-82; DG-358) M (he/him), 1.75 m (5'9"), Klaguti/Arboreal A light green ghoul with short blonde hair, blue eyes and a rounded beak. He has a short tail. Sorkroak Skorne (GT25-83; DG-359) F (she/they), 1.63 m (5'4"), Crogvor/Volcanic A pink ghoul with short brown hair, yellow eyes and large rounded ears. She has a short pointed beak and a medium-length tail. Raku Pekdroll (GT25-84; DG-341) F (she/her), 1.94 m (6'4"), Ekhechveni/Abyssal A bulky or large dark burgundy ghoul with long ears resembling a rabbit, with a "beakless" short beak when viewed from a side. Raku also has purple-pink eyes, an extra digit on her back feet and a medium-length tail. Gorndrolokos Pekdroll (GT25-85; DG-340) M (he/they), 1.66 m (5'3"), Ekhechveni/Tundra A brown ghoul with a long bent beak, red eyes and short light brown hair. His ears are long and rounded but he has an extended earlobe (partly from body modification rather than happening to be hatched this way) and a very long prehensile tail. He is shown to have early advanced aging of his scales (being darker as naturally occurring amongst the Nari/Dracoghouls) despite being in his early 50s (biologically if he was a human; this would be in his 80s), which is sometimes an uncommon occurrence amongst ghouls.
