We caught up with the Gibson Cup Final between Methodist College and Rainey Endowed at Stormont Pavilion on Monday afternoon. In an extremely competitive match, both teams tested their opposition defences without seriously troubling the ‘keepers. Midfield almost cancelled each other out without breaking into the circles so it came as no surprise that halftime arrived scoreless.

On Wednesday afternoon The Royal School Armagh 3XI were the visitors to a sunny, warm Pirrie Park to face Methodist College 3XI in a Gibson Cup Quarter Final Tie. Both sides were dangerous on the break in the 1st quarter but neither side could make an early breakthrough. Armagh shaded territory and possession, as the quarter ended 0-0.
