not a big fan of how hagravens/reach witches were handled skyrim and beyond, not because of feminist issues or anything, but because it's a waste that Glenmoril is such a good name and gets attached to nothing I find cool

TES has a recurring witch coven called the Glenmoril Witches. At their best, they can be, if morally ambiguous, still helpful (although it's worth noting that the most unconditionally helpful member you encounter had left the coven and retired).

Oh how I long for Vicn to finish Glenmoril, I yearn for the comfort modded Skyrim provides me in day to day and God knows I need it with this art block/burnout

Also I need to point out that in both Vigilant and Glenmoril there's been at least one female character with an aggressively fucked up face.
I think this is the dev's attempt at making them look cute but it's really awful looking. Like Lamae is giving Yamato Deadlock here.

I can't help but notice the similarities between the words "Glenmoril" and "Glenumbra"
"Mori" seems to roughly translate to "dark" in Elvish
"Umbra" seems to mean dark/shadow, though I can only guess in which language. I think it likely is closely derived from Ehlnofex.

You're right. Kodlak sends you Glenmoril, which gives the plot a chance to get rid of him, and then when that's wrapped up everyone goes Ysgramor's tomb together. John Skyrim is just sorta along for the ride, so *naturally* they hand him the keys when it's over.

Glenmoril needs... a lot more polish honestly.
I get that Vigilant is near a decade old but the gap is sort of astounding
Its mostly bouncing between sort of twee npc interactions obviously setting up a tragedy and really fun "missions"
