Vi började vid Spiterstulen i strålande sol vid halv nio i morse. Hade med gott om kläder för vi visste att det kan vara kallt på toppen. Dom rök rätt fort, kan jag nämna. Strax fick man en fantastisk vy över dalen mellan Galdhøpiggen och Glittertind.

You could try a track called Longships & Mead by a Norwegian band called Glittertind. Not sure where you could use it in vid, but its always made me smile & you can't deny the viking connection 🗡️🍻😃

Oh I was trying to remember their name. Quite similar to Heilung who appear in Senua's Saga. Glittertind are another Norwegian favorite though possibly with the widest transition of styles from black metal through folk and finally settling on sigur ros style indie rock.

Eksempel, hva er Norges høyeste fjelltopp? Det kommer an på når og hvordan en måler. Galdhøpiggen er nå Norges høyeste fjell med 2 469 meter. I 1917 ble toppen av breen på Glittertind regnet til å ligge 2 481 moh. Glittertind var dermed Norges høyeste fjell, men nå er Galdhøpiggen høyest.

Kebnekaise ice cap has lost 3.3 m and is now only 2089.9m high!
Absurd loss given the high elevation!
Sydtoppen (ice) was 2118m in 1996 and became lower than Nordtoppen (rock) in 2019.
