Not that long ago, deploying 400+ spacecraft into orbit would have been a lot--IN A YEAR. In 2024, 400+ spacecraft were deployed in about two months, nearly a quarter of those in the last week.
Low # of launches last week: 3.

Busy week, lots of launches (7) and satellite deployments (41).
Most of each happened this Friday (20 Sep 24).
SpaceX only accounted for two of the launches.

A little busy this last week. Six launches, all but one conducted by SpaceX. The launches deployed nearly 90 spacecraft.
The image below shows launches from active orbital spaceports for the first half of 2024, with one notable exception.

Busy week last week --seven launches in seven days.
-106 successful launches in five months (already half of 2023's total).
-SpaceX's 2024 launches are ~60% of its 2023 total
-Spacecraft 2024 deployments are less than half of 2023's total

Remember when 72 launches were considered a lot of launches for the year? And here we are, not even four months in.
Launch information, satellite deployments, and the nations accomplishing it all...oh, my!

Seven days, six successful launches, two of them using new rockets, one from a boat. That, and more space activities are what you'll find in the Global Space Activity Dashboards:

...exceed that in 2024. The administration’s attitude toward the industry can be described as benign ambivalence with negligible, possibly no, negative consequences. I’m also unworried about Kamala Harris’ effect on the industry.

Another busy week of launches and spacecraft deployments (including the Starship test).
7 days, 7 launches, 83 spacecraft deployments.
26 launches required to beat 2023's total.

Perhaps one of the slowest launch weeks of the year--one launch: Vulcan.
U.S. launches for 2024 (111--113 if including Starship launches) have surpassed 2023's U.S. launch totals (110).

It was another busy week with a flurry of launches from China (3). Also, as of September 28, 2024, the estimated mass to orbit (~1.5 million kg) exceeded last year's total deployed mass.

Wowzers!
A busy launch week: 8. An interesting week of spacecraft deployments: 156. The majority aren't even from SpaceX, which is a refreshing change.

July has been the slowest month for orbital launches in 2024 and not just because of SpaceX's pause. Only two launches have been conducted during the last two weeks.

A busy week of launches and spacecraft deployments.
Five successful rocket launches and one stainless steel ICBM (😉). 72 spacecraft deployed, although the two satellites from China, DRO-A/B, weren't deployed properly.
