Bit more fun. It is a fully editable vector SVG and does not use a clipping mask because paths are clipped to glyph outline during construction.

Dev note: TextMeshPro can't shape Hindi. Matras don't reorder, conjuncts never form, and mark positioning is skipped.
My fix without touching the package: shape offline with CoreText, bake each glyph variant into a Private Use Area font. ~520 variants, zero drift.

I also like Glyph from BD (right, gold-orange-bronze dude) but I wouldn’t say it’s a ‘knot’ ? It’s a slight change in diameter around the bottom, but again is a nice model, both in looks and feel.
I’m still working my way on to him tho, had him for 2 years and still can’t manage 🤣
