We got Fyrakk down on normal and are making our way through heroic! Gnarlroot wasn't too bad, only took a couple attempts.

We cleared Normal Amirdrassil in less than an hour and then spent the rest of the night on Heroic Gnarlroot, which we already got down and Heroic Igira, which was a guild first. I also topped the meters on Igira. Woot! #WoW

In other news, we downed N-Fyrakk and H-Gnarlroot last night. I have to say, aside from the unexpected ilvl floor going in to N, the raid itself was decently designed. Not that many overengineered mechanics or pointless ground swirlies. It left the team excited for Heroic, not exhausted from Normal

Yeah because i think the intention when I found the list was kinda just mill yourself, play Gnarlroot, make something get like +12/+12 and revive stuff to make a big board?

Piledriver was almost definitely a consideration of the lack of goblins in the set, making it comparatively awful in a Limited environment. I imagine that (along with a couple other cards like Gnarlroot Trapper and Warping Wail) will get fast tracked with an anthology somewhere.

They noted that 29 cards registered at recent RCs wouldn't be in the set and they'd be finding ways to get them onto the client later. Not the biggest news. I'd imagine these were limited considerations (cards like Warping Wail, Gnarlroot Trapper, and Goblin Piledriver are unplayable, for example)

I know there's very few WoW folks on this site, but do any other pres evokers feel this way? I'm not 'bad' at the class, I parsed an 82 on mythic gnarlroot last week. But this playstyle isn't fun, and it makes learning new fights much harder.

Also 1 Mythic boss down in Gnarlroot, and 5% off of boss 2, Igira!
So this 2nd week of the raid we've:
Cleared Normal
Cleared Heroic
Got on the Mythic ladder while RTWF was still going - officially in the race!

Congrats! What order are you doing them? We're 3/9 with practically 4 but we're Gnarlroot, Igira, Volo, and Larodar.

Got AOTC for the rest of the guild (i pugged it last week) and then we one-shot Gnarlroot and killed Igira on mythic

Hunter Solo - Durendil vs Gnarlroot
He doesn't seem to have a berserk timer. Or at least it's extremely long. I'm missing about 20% dps for Igira though, so I guess I'll continue soloing amidrassil in TWW. In phase 1, the small adds deal a massive amount of damage with their DoT. I used defensives if I got the debuff, and turtle on the second set of adds. In phase 2, boss deals increasing damage, so I had to use defensives too.

Wasted three hours in two different groups and that Gnarlroot kill was the only one we managed. Four pulls on Igira and the raid dissolved, then three pulls on Larodar and THAT group dissolved. All that for fuck-all. I'm mad.
