The good news: I have worked out that I can get my Goddaughters to brush their teeth when I'm babysitting by playing them a video of Chip Skylark singing "my shiny teeth and me" from The Fairly Oddparents.
The bad news: unless I am playing them the song, they will not brush their teeth.

Took my Goddaughters on a day out to a National Trust property today. I've often heard them advertising their child friendly activities and stuff but have never been to one of their properties with kids in tow and so am delighted to announce that they absolutely smashed it. We had a great time.

My Goddaughters have recently discovered my whole "climb up churches" thing and they responded by immediately running to all the other adults in the room to snitch on me for "being naughty and dangerous and going places he's not supposed to" and it was so funny.
