I’m the most routine male influence in my 1 year old godsons life (he is being raised by two women). I sing a jokey song for him about how we’re discussing “man issues.” To be sure I include sports and wrestling as “man issues,” but so is:

Marrying off one of my pseudo godsons this afternoon. The groom said dress-wise, nothing was "extra" so I brung it, fascinator and all. Mother of the groom is crushing a pair of @fluevog.bsky.social with her gown. It's going to be a great wedding, and for the couple, an amazing marriage.🎊

I had a VERY bad day today. The last thing I wanted to do was play house with my husband and entertain our godsons and meet a new girlfriend...but we made a turkey dinner and played Blizzard of 77 game and the girlfriend is just about the loveliest human ever and just for a bit my soul was at rest.
