DAY 20: Haunt

Does anyone else ever think about the implications of his "second outfit?"

#Goldtober2025 #GBArt #PinheadBellArt
Day 20: It’s been months since you successfully experimented on that test subject of yours. Now his face looks more familiar. Maybe his outfit is a bit more tattered. But it has been centuries. And what did you do to pay tribute to this friend? You replaced him. You know this isn’t the real him. You pried a soul from a functional body and a body from a restless soul. Now you’re left with a shell and a ghost. Does this new soul resemble the old one you left behind? Do you really think “bringing him back” will amount to anything? The soul you actually admire remains on the verge of life and death. He is still broken over his defeat in battle. He abhors the thought of no longer being mourned. If you ever cross paths again, perhaps you will be the outlet for his rage.
