Clark Street is 4x as dangerous as a normal city street for pedestrians and cyclists… people routinely drive 65 mph on this stretch of Clark.

this is the relatively standard machine i always see, specifically this model too. each tread has its own hydraulics so it can adjust, the machine runs w/ sensor rods that touch the set line (typically) this one looks like its not using them tho

i think gomaco has had GPS enabled machines for about 15 years. mass grading has largely embraced GPS use but they tend to build their own models and tune theirs a lot more accurately

Today's historic pic: Melbourne W5 class tram no 751 on a route 72 from Camberwell at the Chapel St stop in Malvern Road, Prahran, Vic, November 1 1986. 751 was never retrofitted with sliding doors but the narrow centre side doors had been closed off. After retirement, 751 was sold to Gomaco in Iowa
