Zelda and GotG on the same day 😔
It was going to be an epic live service game with monthly lore. Sony just panicked and killed it lol. I still can't believe the boldness to knock off the GotG guy but green and lame

You're not wrong, but the GOTG game had way more personally then that xD

The past five years is doubly funny considering, No Way Home, Across the Spider-verse, Multiverse of Madness, Wakanda Forever, GOTG Vol. 3, Deadpool & Wolverine and Brand New Day exist.
And that Shang-Chi, Thunderbolts, and Fantastic Four were received well.

Batman & Robin (1997): "Superheroes are over!"
Hulk (2003): "Superheroes are over!"
Spider-Man 3 (2007): "Superheroes are over!"
X-Men Origins- Wolverine (2009): "Superheroes are over!"
Avengers: Age of Ultron & Ant-Man (2015): "Superheroes are over!"

It reminds me of Trimpe on GOTG trying a different art style at the same time. Again, the results were not great.

Pratt really was great in P&R and GotG. Shame about everything else!

the lighting is so sharp & precise that it gives perfect "actor a little too close to their lightbox". the cuts from idle animations to the selection animations & back to neutral are just unreal enough. the costuming is almost exactly "GotG-era MCU" in terms of "compromising concept art w reality".

Watching VisionQuest and am noticing that they did a better job at “James Gunn’s GotG”-ing than James Gunn.

Usually bad designs make you go oh it was trying to be X, or this artist really likes this concept but it didn't translate. Here they were working with nothing. I guess green guy is kind of GotG.
Concord's character select will always live in my heart as some of the funniest I've ever seen like there are layers to how this makes me cackle

I thought I hadn't seen anyone about Concord before it released, before abruptly realising it was the YT ad I categorised as 'some GOTG knock-off thing' that I'd seen the start of dozens of times.

Myself, alongside the entire bluesky universe, seeing who we supposedly repeatedly cancelled:
Korath The Pursuer Asks 'Who?'
Alt: Djimon Hounsou in GotG going "Who?" as genuinely as anyone ever has.

Yes I own that cassette tape from the original GOTG movie release and ofc I was gonna use it in the photo. Don't mind the Blood Incantation Absolute Elsewhere tape in the cassette player.

I know I should be discussing the Israeli election but what the fuck happened to Chris Pratt? He was the funniest guy on parks and rec. In GotG he brought that charm to an action role. Now he's like a worse Scott Eastwood.

I like the yellow robot. The rest look like generic background characters from gotg.
