There's almost a graypril look to the sky this morning, but these clouds are a little higher than the usual coastal spring stuff. These high and mid-level clouds should be around until this evening, says the weather service. #sandiegoweather #CAwx

Perennial June weather in coastal San Diego... we put up with it because July's weather is usually glorious...

also see Graypril, May Gray, and the occasional No Sky July...

An ultra gray drizzly kinda day in San Diego. Down at Liberty Station. So gray. May Gray. Double whammy after Graypril this year with June Gloom yet to come.

Got rid of so much more stuff on Buy Nothing this weekend, despite the rainy San Diego weather. May Gray came out in full force, after Graypril has already given us all the SAD.

Good morning, Camarillo! We graduated from Graypril to May Gray this morning, but with a little bit of an extra afternoon kick in our local mountains. We start off very spring-like, with low clouds and fog thanks to a well-entrenched marine layer capped by a strong inversion. 🧵 1/7

Technically GrAyPRIL still, but I get it, DM. 😁

Wednesday check-in. GrAyPRIL still doing her thing near the coast. Heading to Leucadia for ☕!
April 23, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Good morning, Camarillo! Graypril in full effect today as a deep marine layer and an extensive low cloud field are in place across the region. Broad upper-level low pressure is the reason, supporting stronger onshore flow. 🧵 1/4

Finally cooling down in L.A. soon, in a phenomenon commonly known as "April Graypril"

Complaining about Graypril/May Gray/June Gloom isn't gonna win me many sympathy points and trust me, I get it, I didn't grow up here, it could still be snowing

...and yet complain I will. Where is the SUN
