A stunning scene of a distant & hazy Mount Moran of Wyoming's Grand Teton mountain range, as reflected in the Oxbow Bend of the Snake River. The river is wide & slow, and swinging off into the distance to the left, but also with the entire peak visible in view both above & in it. There a pine tree in the left of the frame, and many more along the lengthy river's edges. The distant trees are also reflected in those smoothly flowing waters. The slight haze is due to the frequency of wildfires across the mountain west of the United States. The joy of this scenario is that it's EASILY AVAILABLE to all- just by merely driving along the main Grand Teton Highway, US 89/191. The pullout is even labeled "Oxbow Bend"!

Quote-post @grainreader.bsky.social: nice 👇 photo choice for #YellowstoneNP & #GrandTetonsNP

At location of ISS at photo time, west of Yellowstone on the map isspix.com/ISS072, there is an orange pin for grainreader's post; it also has link to the downloadable 50-mm high-res by astronaut #NickHague
