Cranberry season, and not a moment too soon. Making Momma’s favorite cranberry chutney.

Gołąbki is in the oven. 😋

Had to modify it a bit due to a lack of supplies, but it'll still be tasty.

Now we wait.

My late mom's birthday is the 21st, she passed away four years ago, and although her and I had butted heads a lot, I know she loved me.
So, when given one of the themes to pick for a hotel room as antique, I kind of wanted to make a room for her.
If only there was a graniteware item haha.

The cantaloupe was flavorless, the frozen yogurt I made last night was disappointing, but this is easily the best loaf of bread I’ve baked in a couple years. Looks good, tastes great.

I got a vintage blue graniteware roaster just on your recommendation for this specific recipe and have never regretted the decision.

Granite City is like this as well. They don't do anything with actual granite there; it's named for the Graniteware cookware they manufacture

Whoever told you that was wrong. I have both a 24 quart water bath and a big steel pressure canner and have used both, no problems.
The graniteware cheapo water baths work GREAT on induction. And the weight is not a problem, just be gentle. Put the canner in place, then add jars & water.

i'm almost ashamed to admit it- but my most used pan is a $10 'graniteware' skillet; it's thin, so it reacts quick & the non-stick is a textured ceramic.

dig around & you'll find decent 1500 watt starter units for around $30, and they're great to get oriented on & really versatile.

I second the graniteware recommendation. Fairly easy to clean too.
