Midge is happiest near the sea.

We think it’s because her first really happy memories were on beach visits when we first rehomed her. She was a stray who came to us with all sorts of issues.

Here she is many years ago on a family holiday in Cornwall

A Lakeland view on a bright but cloudy winters day by the lake at Derwent Water, Keswick, Cumbria, England. Two Border Terriers stand by the side of a calm lake on the pebbly shore. They both have keen expressions of concentration, as if something out of the picture in the distance on the left has caught their attention. Behind them is the lake with some of the Northern Fells in the background. Their slopes are various shades of grey, orange and green. Skiddaw is the highest fell with its summit covered in clouds. The sky is covered with white clouds and a touch of blue sky at the top of the picture. This is reflected in the lake.
