Apparently, billionaire Jim Grenon was watching this at one of his homes, and was incensed enough to offer to bankroll a defamation case by Batchelor against Sanjana for saying that, and TVNZ for airing it. Grenon also happens to be the largest shareholder in TVNZ's major rival company, NZME.
