Based on the fact that my WoL is pretty familiar with tech on the whole and can grep it pretty quickly, I’d imagine she figured a way to exploit something in the OS of the terminal and gained root permissions to shut the machine down. Rather not risk causing something worse.
Here’s an interesting #wolqotd for those who have completed Dawntrail. How did your WoL handle taking down the terminals? Did they do some sort of sophisticated exploit or just bash the terminal into a bunch of pieces and hope for the best?

ok but what if you do "cat <file> | grep <whatever>" because that's how you learned to do it and you can never remember the correct order of the position arguments to grep
