love greyroots design. 90% cause of their eyes. Its an inbetween of looking cute but also ethereal and uncanny. Like the difference between looking at a rabbit and looking at a greyman alien. 100% sure thats what greyroot is referenfing.

The 7 y/o presented me with a letter for the Easter Bunny requesting Silk Song related items and when I suggested EB mostly deals in Easter-themed gifts I was told, "Easter is all about rebirth, and Greyroot performs the Rite of Rebirth, so SilkSong is an Easter game" and like, huh, OK

this one was mostly done in krita (lined, coloured, shaded) cause I'm trying to get myself used to it for when I jump to linux but um

Sudden thought:
Greyroot implants the strange crying plant baby into Hornet, which theoretically germinates into another Greyroot-like creature. Is this how the White Lady and Pale King made the vessels? Was the Knight and the Sealed Vessel a product of Pale King mpreg?

Greyroot was by far my favorite NPC in @teamcherry.bsky.social's #Hollowknight #Silksong so I drew her in the shape of the Curse crest

someone cooking up a knight in silksong mod (THAT ALTERS THE NARRATIVE) better turn greyroot into a boss because we all know the void isn't having any of that parasite shit
maybe it starts with greyroot strangling the knight -- only for them to strangle her back
kill her, focus, and gain crest yep

Greyroot can use my Bug to make as many cursed Parasite babies as they want, how could I say no to such a pretty Root like them.
You know since I mentioned the Creep I do find it a little bit amusing how Both Greyroot and Kratt only really see Moss as a object to make kids for them and yet he only has issues with one of them.
It's basically that one meme.
