CREC, in its efforts to modernize, has chosen to work with SparkMeter to automate various components of its financial operations. By utilizing SparkMeter's GridScan and GridFin tools, CREC can track electricity costs in real-time, simulate the impact of rate changes, and relocate overloaded transformers to zones with lower demand. Similarly, RPU, based in Rochester, Minnesota, is collaborating with SparkMeter to address increasing data demands. Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) announced the acquisition of three utility platforms from SparkMeter, Inc., expanding its Smart Energy portfolio. The acquired platforms include Praxis (data analytics platform), GridScan (grid performance monitoring software), and GridFin (financial management application).The integration enhances Honeywell Forge Performance+ for Utilities, providing advanced tools for grid modernization and asset optimization.
