GWC says "does not align to gridset" for every getMap. If I let OL calculate the zoom levels the base map looks fine. If I use url: 'http...geoserver/gwc/service/wms' instead I get http 400 bad request on the getMap requests. The base layer is used as a background map in an ol2 app defined in the same way, i.e extent and a series of resolutions, and it works well. What is required in OL3 to make use of a cached background layer?

Someone just told me pushing myself until I break and then doing it all again is not healthy! They need to get on the gridset!!! /j
