It's telling of many men's struggles with emotional groundedness when I get called "one of the most thoughtful people they've ever met" by multiple male colleagues of mine when I'm simply expressing common courtesy and decency to them. 😔

Would love to know what George Lucas thinks of ANDOR. It retains the political focus and relevance of Lucas’ 6 Star Wars films and The Clone Wars but also has a maturity and groundedness we haven’t quite seen before. Hopefully we find out Lucas’ thoughts one day.

I think it makes sense in terms of reactionary nostalgia - the “we can’t have a Black mermaid, bring on open white supremacy” feeling is of a piece with “the internet is scary and confusing, bring back the TV, which I understand,” both in Trump’s particular psychology and his base’s.
