Lo que realmente me preocupa del Guernica es lo que haría un potencial ministro de Cultura de VOX. Meterlo en un sótano o, peor, que se le rompa en algún "accidente".

Pues parece que A Feijóo y al PP no le gusta el vídeo de Pedro Sánchez frente al Guernica, pero será eso o es que realmente odian el Guernica, yo creo que es esto último porque sacan las vergüenzas de lo que hicieron "los suyos".

An art historical gloss: for those who don't know, Guernica was held by MoMA in NYC for more than 40 years, as Picasso stipulated the painting should not return to Spain while Franco was still in power. It was finally unstretched, rolled up & sent back to Spain in 1981, as shown in this video

A fascinating footnote is that, 35 years after Guernica was returned to Spain, MoMA rediscovered the painting's original stretcher bars, disassembled and laying forgotten for decades in its storage rooms..!
