Since becoming health secretary Streeting has overseen the single largest sale of NHS services. The contract for community services in the south west was given to HCRG (owned by private equity) & is worth over a billion pounds. I know who's a threat to the NHS, & its not doctors

Entirely apt Tony. Add to the list of parasites the burgeoning business of HCRG (formerly Virgin Care), recently given the £1.3b contract for community health services in Bath, Swindon & Wilts. HCRG will take over 2000 NHS trained staff, who are the life blood of of the NHS (the metaphor holds)
