You don't have insurance, but your insurance company does. See, they cash your check every single month, but only write checks if they feel like it.

I believe in Medicare for All like I believe in public schools. There for you no matter what.

On this day in 1994, the Clinton administration's heathcare reform plan was declared "dead" by Congress.

Over 30 years later, the US is still the only industrialized country without universal healthcare.

This should be a national outrage.

#HR676 #MedicareForAll You don‘t want socialized medical care? There will be practices happy to charge you more But we all know you will fall back on it when that proves too expensive It’s okay!
Tell me the system is broken without telling me the system is broken.
"Even medical professionals are skipping health insurance because of high prices."

A doctor and a pharmacist in Idaho just dropped coverage for their family of four. Their premium hit nearly $1,600 a month.

If they can't afford it, who can?

A new study shows that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and over $1 trillion every year.

The new research out of Yale shows that reductions in administrative overhead, lower pharmaceutical prices, less fraudulent billing, and fewer emergency care trips would lead to huge savings.

"Do not tell me we cannot afford Medicare for All," the senator said. "What we cannot afford is a broken healthcare system based on greed."

El-Sayed: "Imagine if instead of paying that to your health insurance company, whose CEO makes $20m a year, you paid a little bit more in taxes for healthcare you wouldn't lose. I think all of us would a lot more interested in that system if we knew our healthcare would be free at point of care"

I've watched messaging bills get ignored for many years (HR676 anyone?).

Messaging bills also risk of relegation to "chemtrail" or space lasers public discourse status.

Increasing reach on widely used platforms is smart.

I'm watching someone build power, are you disinterested in building power?

HR676 John Conyer's original Medicare for All Act. Double the supreme Court. Ram through a new New Deal. These are the minimum requirements.

You're creating a fictitious narrative. Americans weren't clamouring for the ACA before or after September 2008: we had a bill, it was John Conyers HR676 The Medicare For All Act. That should sound familiar bc that's pretty much the same bill Bernie Sanders has been championing, to this day.

Obama had already decided during the transition before being sworn into office that universal healthcare, or the John Conyers Medicare For All Act HR676 would not be in the table.

Obama suspected of targeting key sponsors like Conyers, Kucinich, drove them from politics.
When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

The way Steyer's campaign frames healthcare is "only Tom can fix it" which bs since both XB and KP would also try. And IMHO XB actually knows the ins and outs of getting it done since he was an author of ACA, saved it in the Supreme Court and his HHS experience. +Cosponsor of HR676 since 2005

Im excited about him, but could someone get an answer for why he hasnt cosponsored the HR676 Medicare for all bill?

To coincide with our 250th anniversary the National Single Payer program (advocates for national health insurance)
has launched their "Declaration of Independence From the Medical-Industrial Complex" campaign. They also condemn the Genocide in GAZA, which the PNHP does not.

You are too smart to get duped. You know a charter school is a private school paid for with public funds. You know John Conyers introduced HR676 medicare for all in 2003 and Obama could have championed it in 2008.

Locally; vote for what you know is right. Ally with them only to avoid catastrophe.
