We commemorate today a grim milestone: The 8th year of the #Rohingyagencoicide. In my last thematic report (A/HRC/59/47) to #HRC59, I referred to reproductive violence used as a genocidal tool, by preventing births within a targeted group or to forcibly alter the group’s demographic composition.

One highlight was my meeting with the CEDAW Committee with whom the mandate has a long-lasting strategic relationship.

1/2 GenevaSolutions contacted me on Tuesday 23rd June, one day before my presentation to #hrc59 and gave me 6 hours to respond to a very broad question. I had meetings back to back, a dialogue with States on the 24th of June and a press conference on the 26th of June….
