Today was the Hyeres 100th Anniversary Airshow, what an amazing show! The French Navy Rafale pair went up twice and this particular pass generated a lot of vapour! #HYE25 @marinenationale.bsky.social

Also performing at the Hyeres Airshow, an ex Securite Civile Turbo Firecat - one of two currently operating in private hands in France. This particular aircraft belonging to Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse in Montelimar. #hye25

Back home in the UK now. One of my personal highlights of the Hyeres Airshow and something I've been wanting to photograph for years - the Nord Noratlas. What an amazing sound those radial engines make! #HYE25

As well as the Navy helicopters present at the Hyeres Airshow, the French Army sent a trio of types - NH90, Tigre and this Gazelle. There's just something special about dayglo and camo schemes. #hye25

The French Navy currently operate 6 modified civilian Airbus H160s in the pilot training and SAR roles. These will stay in service until the militarised H160M Guepards are delivered from 2029. I do like the gloss black accents on this scheme. #hye25 @marinenationale.bsky.social
