I really had a diabetic issue happen at around 4am. Woke up in a panic, sweating, shaking like mad. Aka hypoglycemic. And it hung around a bit. So just called out. Job will hit me with a strike anyway.

No worries! I was undiagnosed hypoglycemic for years, then two years ago found out I'm diabetic. Switched up my diet but still don't have the diet down exactly right so I have those blood sugar plummets too haha.

I try lemonade. Doesn't really make me less thirsty, still makes me sleepy. Less chance of hypoglycemic episode, more chance I will reflux and need to puke.
I switch to Coke. Makes me less thirsty, doesn't make me tired, doesn't make my hypoglycemic, my MIL and wife keep saying soda will kill me.
