"Hakkoda-maru" 八甲田丸, Seikan Railway Ferry, Aomori Prefecture.
The Hakkoda Maru entered service in 1964 and was retired in 1988 with the opening of the Seikan Tunnel.
Length 69.5cm （27.3in）. This pennant was produced in 1988, #vintage .

Another woodblock by Ito Takashi (1884-1982). This image seems to capture the cold and the feel of today in the SF Bay Area. This is called, "Snowstorm at Naganobori slope at Mt Hakkoda." Until I got my reading glasses updated I thought the leaves were birds!
