~Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker ~

In this one we went through our beloved Naked Snake coming to terms with the loss of Boss (rest in peace) as he begins to forge his path to Big Boss! The date scene was weird though...

We start at the beginning. Solid Snake a member of FoxHound (or DogDog as I've been calling it jokingly) has been running around saving prisoners, falling into many pitfalls, getting bad info and eating rations.

My bf @k1l2l3y.bsky.social absolutely loves the Metal Gear series, which I've never once looked into. But after how much I loved Death Stranding, he's decided to introduce me with my own watch through of the whole series. So if you want my running vibes follow #HallowfallMetalGear

~Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater ~

Hands down my favourite so far! All the little bits and details they added as well just URGH all so good. I hate to say it but Naked Snake is absolutely my fave Snake at this point.

~Metal Gear Solid 2 ~

Completed in 2 days we made our way through this tale of twists and more twists and even more twists. Not Solid Snake this time (or not for long anyway), but instead playing alongside him as code name Raiden! Also very on topic with the AI talk.

Well the story is certainly starting to pick up and get more complex!! But it was fun seeing some of the interesting mechanics still being used. And lords that fight where you had to change your controller port and such were so freaking cool.

Full day of Metal Gear Solid in the lead up to Delta!
It has been tough adjusting to an older game, So much muscle memory to ignore.
We got up to the Hind D fight.
Been taking notes in Discord and highlighting things for @hallowfall.bsky.social to remember for #HallowfallMetalGear.

~Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake~
#HallowfallMetalGear #Spoilers
Haha I loved all the silly things in this game. Like I know they made sense but still. Like getting an owl to hoot to trick guards into thinking it's night, the snakes hatching and eating your rations and beating Big Boss with paint basically

And MGS2 is done!
The themes of information control, misinformation and AI are all on point, even 24 years later.
With a couple days to spare before Metal Gear Delta

Genetic or memetic, it's your legacy, you decide how it is passed on. Just leave something behind.
