Hamilton County Council held the first of two required preliminary determination hearings on a proposal to issue general-obligation bonds for Bakersque water and sewer improvements and to refinance bonds issued in 2023. Bond counsel outlined the scope and invited public comment; none was offered.

Bond counsel Dennis Ottman told the Hamilton County Council that a proposed general obligation bond would finance Bakers Corner water and sewer improvements and refinance a 2023 bond anticipation note; public hearings are scheduled over the next two council meetings before adoption.
