You go back far enough into the origins of Elder Scrolls Province names and you start to understand why they may be wary of titling the next game Hammerfell

Elder Scrolls VI Hammerfell will boldly ask the question “what if red state but black and Muslim?”

If TES6 is in Hammerfell, it should be ONLY Hammerfell. Western Europe got TES4 (at the expense of all non-euro elements...) and Northern Europe got TES5, let Africa/middle east/near east get at least one game all to themselves.

(they should obviously have WAY more than one, but let's start there)

Did You Know: Hammerfell shifts from being a republic or hereditary monarchy regularly? Its current status is dependent on whether the Forebears, who prefer a republic, or Crowns, who are monarchists, are currently dominant.

Did You Know: The inhabitants of the Alik'r desert in Hammerfell claim dragons still live in their region? The extreme isolation of the region due to its inhospitality makes the claim difficult to challenge.

Hammerfell looks about the way Daggerfall did tbh

What's so funny? The wilds of Hammerfell grow harsher with the addition of prowling hyenas. #BeyondSkyrim #Skyrim #ElderScrolls #Modding

Did You Know: Sunport is the Corelanyan capital city of Solstice? It was developed from an outpost to a full city after the lost of their Hammerfell holdings and they were exiled from Summerset.

having read everything we have (which isn't much new, but does include that recent interview) at this point I'm 100% convinced that the original plan for tes6 was to have a story set in hammerfell, primarily about the last resistance efforts against the aldmeri dominion, ending in hammerfell falling

You stormcloaks… Skyrim was fine until you came along. Empire was nice and lazy.
If they haven’t been looking for you, I could’ve stolen that horse and been halfway to Hammerfell.

Reminder that Hammerfell -does- have Joshua trees

Skyrim beats Hammerfell 2-1

An interesting change from Oblivion to Skyrim is the lack of orcs in the Legion

Yes, likely due to dev resources, but theres also a lore reason!

Orsinium was basically razed after Oblivion. Hammerfell and High Rock invaded and trashed it.

The orcs, probably not happy with Tamriel rn

Hammerfell will always be the one that got away, the art and lore produced for it were unparalleled cool

Did You Know: Volenfell, the "City of the Hammer" is the legendary landing site of Volendrung, after the Rourken chief threw it across the continent to choose a new home location for his Dwarven clan? This would lead to the modern name of the province, "Hammerfell".
