#Vancouver police officers at W Broadway & Spruce are gently dealing with a robust 30ish male who was being "rambunctous". Went from bowing to cars in traffic to interferingly trying to *help* invalid into HandiDart. Assume HD driver called VPD. here's the paddy wagon. Good luck guy!

Got my wife to look at it, she’s much smarter than me, and I think from keefer theres a handidart that will take you to the security gate. I think I’m going to head down there on the 13th and do a recon/ask questions without the stress or pressure of a kickoff time.

On my trips around TO looking at seniors retirement and long-term care models - as well as a few housing co-ops in Etobicoke - came across a pop up shop with these beautiful Wheeltrans stickers. My clients depend on Handidart in BC. We need to celebrate affordable accessible transit ♿️

Something else that's happening with #Handidart #yyj is that pickup times are set extremely close to appointment times. For instance an 11 AM appointment is offered a 10:30 pickup time. With a thirty minute window where the bus could actually show up. Where's the logic.

What's going on with #Handidart #yyj? On hold for 45 minutes and the call was dropped. Ever since they moved to their ne facility, the service has deteriorated severely.

I did not see anything about a Handidart. Are you able to tell me where your wife saw that? It's not on the map that I could see.

I did find a Sun news story saying there would be a drop-off spot for those with accessibility issues, but you have to have a Sparc handicapped parking pass to use it.

One poor bastard was waiting for Handidart there. I wish him all the luck in the world but also I assume that twelve hours later he is still waiting while they get lost in the parkade and give up.

I live in a town of about 10,000 and we have a handful of bus routes here, with one of them every half hour
There's also Handidart, an on-demand bus service for PWD. Plenty of bikes and mobility scooters in this community with a large Senior population.

Live in Surrey. Am on disability, rely on transit but don't qualify for handidart. The cutting of transit in the GVRD would render me housebound, at all times. I live $10K below the poverty line in a house with cockroaches but can't move. It's this or homelessness.
