I have canvassed for the Green party in by-elections in Gorton and Denton, Holborn and St Pancras, St Anne's ward in Haringey and in the locals in Barnet, Hackney, St Albans and more.

I've been to three national conferences and a regional one.

Travel and accommodation at my own expense.

Eugh. Haringey loves shared use pavements.

Haringey is known for always keeping on giving. Never disappoints x

Haringey seems to be in the habit undoing decent cycle infrastructure in favour of "shared use" pedestrian and cycle spaces. Look what we had back in 2008 compared with now! Chestnut Walk/Rd. This is why people complain about cyclists weaving in and out of walkers!

What Haringey promised versus what was delivered. We were promised reduced car parking and a cycle haven, but got even more car parking, resulting in more driving and an uninviting cycling experience.

Instead we have this which cost £86,000 in 2015.

Just looking up my council's coat of arms. I have never seen it before and the council doesn't use it.It absolutely rocks. Bring it back Haringey. Oh our weapon is lightning.

Easy consultation, one would hope, because several London boroughs have figured this out already. Despite TfL rather than because of them; the glaring gaps in virtual dock provision here are because Haringey couldn't get Red Routes changed.
NEW: Ministers are consulting on how to Ministers end the “wild west” system of some parked e-bikes blocking pavements, which will also look at possible ways to crack down on antisocial behaviour like cyclists jumping red lights.

Intellectual disability: patients and professionals both forever neglected (nothing new; see the Water Tower speech). Well done Haringey LD Partnership for winning the two-horse race. Repping their ends extensively, describing themselves as from the "best London borough". #RCPsychAwards

In London it's no longer solely about Islington and Camden where testing has increased, but not greatly.

Barnet, Haringey, and Enfield have all shot up.

Elsewhere levels are lower but yoyoing up and down.

thanks labour! yours sincerely, the residents of haringey.

“We committed to exploring every alternative avenue, and we have done that. We have found that political mismanagement by the previous Labour-controlled board has left us with no better options. It is simply between this or bankruptcy.”

Not too pretty here either.
I hold the JCVI partly responsible for this situation (although US anti-vax not helping)
Their decisions & communications re. childhood covid immunisation were so vague & half arsed* they undermined trust in immunisation in general.

* also wrong of course
Two children die as measles spreads with hundreds of cases in London this year
Enfield, Haringey and Islington have seen the most cases of the virus in the capital

Haringey Labour “misled” the government’s housing regulator over serious fire risks on council estates when in charge, the local authority’s current Green administration alleged last week 🏠 👇

It has been over two years since I first asked Brighton and Hove City Council to provide important fire safety info openly to residents, and still nothing.

I will keep calling for vital documents to be publicly available to tenants. Great to see the Regulator take action in cases like Haringey:
