Lovely and correct point except for then going fishing, which is just 'hate strangers different from you' where the strangers are animals.
Maybe aim for a harmfree culture without hate. Safe for anyone to life in. Including the fish.

It's a shame that "defend your culture" always means "hate strangers different from you" and never "enact anti-pollution laws so that you can go fishing with your grandkids the way your grandpa taught you."

Please, we need a Greens and Te Pati Maori coalition for 2026. Aotearoa needs this level of prioritisation of care, empathy health, safety, consent, consultation, intelligence and desire for a decolonised, harmfree, sustainable and equitable social contract for Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti.
Und damit zum Ally Problem: nur weil wir harmfree sein wollen, sind wir es auch. Oft sind es die, die “vertraut mir” rufen & nicht erkennen, wo sie selbst verletzen. Das ist aber nichts persönliches, das ist strukturell. Wir müssen das eigene diskriminierende Verhalten erst bewusst abtrainieren.
