Earth shattering detail here: Bruce Blakeman couldn't win Hasidic Williamsburg
November 4, 2026 at 6:14 PM
Like seriously. Why would a Hasidic school do this? They don't even support Israel.
"Gentiles do literally anything about antisemitism Challenge!"

A better model is absolute fatigue with campaigning leading people to outsourcing their decisions to the Hasidic equivalents of voter guides
November 3, 2026 at 5:47 PM
The "blind obedience" model of the Hasidic vote was never accurate outside of New Square and by now is completely useless (except maybe New Square)

So STOP

The mayor denounces obvious act of antisemitism in Brooklyn—literally targeting Hasidic communities who are non-Zionistic—and chuds in comments go full conspiracy theory or excuse swastikas on bus.

Rockland County has a Hasidic knock-off Charlie Kirk who started a Congressional campaign in the mid 2010s and very quickly withdrew "upon the advice of his rabbis"

He is now a telephone hotline political commentator, the Hasidic equivalent of podcaster
November 4, 2026 at 5:07 PM
If "blocs" and "obedience" and "what their rabbis say" was the correct model, I would have expected Cait Conley to break 2% in Hasidic neighbourhoods

Belz in control
November 4, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Probably hasidic jew?
November 4, 2026 at 7:19 PM
Meanwhile, for State Senate, the Democrat did 15–25% better, for instance getting 17% in a solidly Hasidic electoral district where Lawler (R) got actual 100%

Astonishing footage of a Zionist Jewish woman having a meltdown on encountering orthodox Hasidic Jews who wave Palestine flags and speak out against the genocidal government of Israel destroying Gaza.

Imagine screaming "You're not a Jew" at this man in the street, and in front of your toddler too.
November 2, 2026 at 3:29 PM
Only two small groups of Hasidic Jews are anti-Israel: The Satmar and the Neturei. Most Hasidic and Haredi Jews support Israel. There are Hasidic and Haredi Jews in Israel that fully participate in civic and political life there.
November 3, 2026 at 3:57 AM
On a lighter note I am happy no one understands inter-group Hasidic politics because there are (preposterous) conspiracy theories that one could spin that would at least map to the real tensions between groups
November 3, 2026 at 12:44 AM
Accidentally looking like an emo Hasidic Jew for some reason
November 1, 2026 at 4:38 AM
In the Hasidic world "ancestral town of the Twerskys" is the bigger claim to fame
November 4, 2026 at 5:39 PM
While racism is unfortunately not rare in the Hasidic world I don't remember hearing it much as a political motivator
November 4, 2026 at 3:41 PM
They even have Democrats... Mamdani's early promoter in the Hasidic world is one of their political commentators
November 4, 2026 at 5:25 PM
The Erev Shabbos flyer would not have run an ad endorsing Democrats at all (while the majority of Monsey rabbis endorse the local Hasidic Dem state assemblyman)
November 3, 2026 at 6:33 PM
When its definitely Anti-Zionism and not just gutter Antisemitism

These school busses belong to Hasidic communities that are theologically Anti-Zionist

This is once again revealing of what Anti-Zionism really is - a permission structure to create cover for the already rising tide of Antisemitism
November 2, 2026 at 10:32 PM
If we’re talking most famous hasidic rebbes, the lubavicher rebbe has fierce competition with the berkeleyer rov eliezer of yudkowsk
November 1, 2026 at 11:19 PM
Meanwhile my Belzer guy handily won as the Democrat in districts where Democrats won nothing despite intense campaigning from Hasidic hardliners to drop all Democrats especially "our own"

He also won by the same ≈90% in the Hispanic and Haitian neighbourhoods nearby, good sign
November 4, 2026 at 3:25 PM
The Satmars (the Hasidic sect that owns this bus) is antizionist and endorsed Mamdani, in case anyone cares.
November 3, 2026 at 1:42 PM
According to this Rockland county (Hasidic?) Jew, it isn't used there either
bsky.app/profile/pymu...
And (to my delight) Lawler is pandering to Yiddish-speaking constituents *who don't use that word that way*
November 3, 2026 at 3:15 AM
Itshe Meir Levin was practically Hasidic royalty, though
November 4, 2026 at 6:30 PM
i wasn't aware that in nyc it was necessary to tell people that dressing up as a hasidic jew for halloween is a shitty thing to do.

and yet.
