The two beginnings of the bifurcated structure of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. It’s stunning to look at and go up in. I used to drive through St. Louis a few times a week. I’d try to stop every time. My boss didn’t like it. There’s a gray pink misty haze in the air. You could cut the air it was tough to breathe it was so thick. The exhaust of the many factories mixed with the heavy humidity created the haze. There’s a street light, round globe and black metal in a silhouette between the two structures. The light looks tiny, but bigger than the viewer. The film is struggling to produce an image, it’s under exposed and so the air is a bit muddy. The scene looks to be from a horror movie. Tactile. You couldn’t see your hand in front of you.
