Seems like it could easily be an accident. You see, sulfuric acid and water look and smell similar. They also similarly come from bottles labeled “sulfuric acid”, and water also has similar GHS/HAZCOM symbology.

The people who do full latex or rubbery body suits are the most powerful beings on earth.

I take off one [1] pair of nitrile gloves and the sweat is enough to drown a nation. Having worn full HazCom gear, I cannot fathom wearing those suits more than 1 hr, much less a whole night.

"In this section, we're going to handle the Haz and the Com of Hazcom!"

"It is worth noting that the NFPA & HMIS severity rating scale identify 0 as least hazardous and 4 as most hazardous. The OSHA HazCom severity rating scale identifies 1 as most hazardous and 4 as least hazardous."

...and I thought citation style for ancient literature was annoyingly inconsistent.

It’s something I know all too well as I have been doing this for 25 years in academia, government, and industry.

HazCom is the bare minimum safety knowledge you owe your employees at every level. You only escape the obligation at <10 employees, but you’re still responsible for when it goes wrong.

50,000 deaths/year. 📉 It sounds impossible, but the data is real.

Most aren't explosions—they are "silent killers" like cancer from chronic exposure. 🫁
