I should be less surprised that people click on the "For You" tab, but some how I'm still shocked when I hear people going on about the "For you" tab.
Even before the headtwit tilted the algorithm to the right, I usually stuck to the Following tab. Why would I want shit I wouldn't kick on?

As recently as a couple of days ago, fans of the HeadTwit were happy that something like 75% of staff had been let go & that things were "just fine".
Except, everything is sh*t and this is a tacit admission that moderation has to be done by skilled humans. Like most of the rest of stuff that there.

2. It says a lot that all the bad press around hate speech, child sexual abuse, and gore on X elicited no such response.
