well, i proceeded to hit the three bandits, give a healthkit to the downed stalker (who was alive but downed, which meant he could be healed), and not only did the systems let me save him, but he acknowledged it and told me where his loot was

claptrap is still annoying by virtue of being fucking claptrap but the intro is all actually serious with jokes that feel like normal banter instead of ERM, REDDIT MOMENT!! and all the classes and Vault Hunters being like real characters is neat. It took 6 games but they have a healthkit you can use
