@mingemi.bsky.social Can u 🙏 use the power of the Chronicle to be sure this never happens again:

NBC Sports Bay Area cuts off the #NWSL Bay FC soccer game with 2 minutes to go in stoppage. For 30 min Giants pregame show. Idiotic decision. No score update from Laura Britt; no apology

#4ContsFigure What part of "we want to see the entire competition" does NBC not understand?

More shenanigans from the network that brought us the #HeidiGame.

It's the 56th anniversary of the #HeidiGame.

Lifelong Raiders fan here. I know a switch play when I see one. Don’t be surprised if “60 Minutes” pulls a Heidi—cuts the segment and swaps in fluff about inflation, borders, and diplomacy. It’s the same old fourth-quarter bait-and-flip. We never forgot. We were watching. #HeidiGame #SixtyEight #NBC

True. I wasn’t there to see it live—I was born after. But as a Raider fan, the Heidi Game is gospel. Passed down like a cautionary tale. Not just about football, but about trust, timing, and how easily the story changes when the cameras cut. #RaiderLore #HeidiGame

#OnThisDay in 1968, viewers on the East Coast missed the thrilling end of the Raiders-Jets game because NBC chose to air the movie Heidi instead. This
decision sparked major changes in sports boroadcasting in the U.S. #SportsHistory
