Not all fire starts from the ground. A helitorch is an aerial ignition device mounted beneath a helicopter. It releases a controlled amount of ignited fuel to introduce low-intensity fire in targeted areas.

I learned a new wildland firefighting term today " helitorch", which I think is capable of setting backfires. Also, I didn't realize drones can "drop fire "
